New Organic Market Opened In Edmond

Another great source of natural and organic foods has opened its doors to the residents of Edmond, Oklahoma. The Sunflower Farmers Market has now opened last Wednesday at 24 E Second St., giving birth to its second branch in Oklahoma since August.

Sunflower Farmers Market is a growing chain of grocery stores that specifically caters to organic and natural products at competitively low prices. Since 2002, the retail chain has maintained its goals of providing good food to the public with its motto “Serious Food… Silly Prices” Currently, the market has around 35 retail stores around the country including the newly opened branch in Edmond.

The Edmond Sunflower Farmers Market offers a wide range of organic foods ranging from vegetables and fruits, to natural meats and chicken. Racks of vegetables and fruits are carefully displayed throughout the store offering cleaned and cut vegetables and fruits.

Meat, seafood and organic chicken are also offered but at “on sale” prices. This section includes both fresh and frozen – to give more variety to the buyers. This section also contains Sunflower’s handmade pork and chicken sausages.

If you are in search for bulk buys, Sunflower offers them too! Coffee, teas, sugars, flours, grains and spices are offered in bulks with no minimum order quantity. You can even bring your own containers to fill with the bulk supplies. If you are interested in freshly baked goods and prepared meals – Sunflower offers those to take home too.

The Edmond Sunflower Farmers Market is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
