New Medical Dermatology Center Coming To Edmond

Individuals suffering from skin cancer and other skin diseases will soon have access to top of the line medical dermatology services with opening of the Saints Dermatology Center of Excellence opening in Edmond. The Saints Dermatology Center will span a 9,000-square foot facility along the Broadway Extension, North of Britton Road.

The Saints Dermatology Center of Excellence is a part of the Saints Medical Group, a nationwide group of physicians that offer various medical services across the US. Through its affiliation with St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, the Saints Dermatology Center of Excellence will be able to cater to the residents of Edmond and other nearby communities and their cities, servicing skin cancer, dermatology treatments and cosmetic procedures.

The new dermatology center had its groundbreaking on April 17, 2012 and is expecting to open by December of this year – and is expected to begin receiving patients as of January 2013.

Some of the services offered at the dermatology center include: light therapy for skin diseases such as morphea, lymphoma and eczema as well as cosmetic procedures. Teledermatology, an earlier detection of skin diseases. And Ultherapy, a non-surgical treatment for tightening loose skin on the face.

The new dermatology center in Edmond will serve as the referral center for satellite clinics in the state including in Enid and a soon-to-open branch in Midwest City.
