Oklahoma Governor Heads to Europe to Bring More Jobs to the State

Governor Mary Fallin hopes to bring more jobs into the state, and along with several other delegates, she will soon be going to Europe for an economic development trip.

According to reports released by the Governor’s office, Governor Fallin will be traveling in Europe from October 15 to 19 in hopes of encouraging more job creation by the companies in the state. The governor will be meeting with different companies in Europe that operate in Oklahoma to encourage them to retain existing jobs in the state as well as increase them.

Governor Fallin will be meeting with companies in the aerospace, manufacturing, and energy industries. If successful, additional new jobs in these fields will be added in the state.

Governor Fallin will be leading a delegation from the Department of Commerce and northeastern Oklahoma. The Tulsa Metro Chamber will be organizing the trip with the Oklahoma Business Roundtable to pay for airfare and lodging.
